ABOUT US
REDIFINING SUPPORT FOR NEURODIVERGENT CHILDREN: CONNECTION FIRST, ALWAYS
At Neuro Nurture, we believe that every neurodivergent child deserves to feel seen and understood exactly as they are. We are a neuro-affirming intervention centre in Somerset West, offering holistic, relationship-focused support for children and teens aged 2–18, as well as guidance and empowerment for their families.
Our story began with two different paths that shared one purpose: to create a safe, inclusive space where children and families don’t just receive intervention, but feel genuinely connected and supported.
VISION AND MISSION
Our Mission
Our mission at Neuro Nurture is to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where neurodivergent children and their families receive individualized, relationship-focused support that honours each child’s unique way of being in the world.
We shift from focusing on “what’s wrong” to uncovering “what’s possible.” We nurture not just developmental progress, but self-esteem, joy, and a deep sense of belonging – because we believe every child deserves to feel safe, capable, and truly seen.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every neurodivergent child, whether autistic, ADHD, PDA, or with sensory and learning differences, is not only accepted but understood for exactly who they are.
A world where children grow up knowing that they are enough, just as they are. A world where they can access the tools, relationships, and spaces they need to thrive without being forced to mask or change to fit in.
Our vision is to lead this change, one child and one family at a time, creating ripples of acceptance and understanding that extend beyond our centre into schools, communities, and hearts.
Our Why
We listened to real families, real children, and real educators, and heard a clear message: families need more accessible and consistent support; teachers want collaborative, practical strategies; parents feel under-supported; and professionals value a team-based, interdisciplinary model.
Our centre was built to meet these needs:
-
Offering both 1:1 and small group settings to provide low-arousal, safe environments for learning and growth.
-
Supporting trust-building, meaningful peer connections, and highly individualised goals with measurable outcomes.
-
Creating stronger foundations for social, emotional, and academic development, especially for children with profiles like Autism, ADHD & PDA.
We Commit To
-
Provide evidence-based interventions grounded in developmental science and guided by compassion.
-
Prioritize connection and co-regulation as the foundation for all growth and learning.
-
Designing highly individualized support plans that celebrate each child’s strengths, interests, and sensory profile.
-
Equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge, confidence, and emotional support they need to advocate for and connect with their child.
-
Building collaborative relationships with educators and professionals to create a true team around each child.
