Each expert brings unique skills and perspectives that contribute to a comprehensive approach to your child’s development, education, and well-being. KEY PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR ROLES
Each professional plays a vital role in addressing different aspects of your child’s needs, ensuring a holistic approach to their care and education.
Pediatrician or Developmental Pediatrician
- Role: Provides initial diagnosis, ongoing medical care, and referrals to specialists.
Clinical/ Educational Psychologists or Neuropsychologists
- Role: Conducts detailed assessments to identify strengths and challenges in cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
Behavioral or Autism (DIRfloortime, ESDM, ABA) Therapist
- Role: Increase the rates of development in all domains (Social/cognitive/adaptive/emotional/behavioural/language/motor/executive functioning) for children with ASD and decrease the vulnerabilities of autism that impair children’s ability to learn from everyday experiences and interactions.
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
